• So yeah, this movie was pretty dismal. There were definitely a few scenes that I genuinely enjoyed, but everything else was pretty bad. The whole movie was cringe-worthy, with forced humor and horrific dialogue. Taika Waititi did a great job with Ragnarok, but he flubbed it with this one. Even though not a whole lot of people liked it, I was thinking it wouldn’t be that bad. But yes, it was as bad as everyone said. It was so hard to sit through because of how out of place it was. Because of this movie, Thor is totally ruined for me. All the characters were not written well, except for Gorr. Christian Bale was the only good character, and I would love to see him return at some point. He was the only thing about the movie that actually made it serious. The soundtrack was pretty hype, however. I did enjoy the selection of songs, which match the classic MCU Thor feel. And then on the flipside, the VFX were downright atrocious. There were a few moments that were pretty sweet, but as a whole, they sucked. Period. If you’ve seen the movie, then you know. Overall, humor was shoved in your face, the characters were crappy, the effects were shoddy, and the whole thing was a joke. I wouldn’t recommend this, unless you’re watch your way through the MCU.
