Hawkeye (2021)
Hawkeye
As a huge fan of Hawkeye, I was very excited to watch this show, and let me tell you, it doesn’t disappoint. It started out a tiny bit slow, but besides that, it keeps a great pace with each episode. It pulled me in pretty quick, and kept me interested until the end. I liked the story, although there were a couple tiny little things that I didn’t care for (like most any show). I loved how Natasha’s presence was included throughout the entire show, as it helps you explore more in depth into Clint’s character. Character-wise, I liked most everyone, although I didn’t always care much for Kate. She was good, but there were a few scenes where she just kind of slightly bugged me. But overall, everyone was fantastic. Obviously Clint is the one to watch, as Jeremy Renner does a great job. But, Hawkeye is easily in my top 3 of favorite Avengers, so I’m biased. I also really liked Tony Dalton as Jack, Vera Farmiga (who I really love from The Conjuring trilogy) as Eleanor, and of course, Florence “Mommy” Pugh as Yelena. Each character added something unique to the story, which is why this show was so good. The music was pretty hype, although it sometimes sounds a bit overused and cliche. All the choreography and fight sequences were fantastically done. They were all really exciting, especially the one in the season finale. Plus, seeing more of Hawkeye’s technology and trick arrows was absolutely awesome. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this for all MCU fans.
