Deadpool 2 (2018)
Deadpool 2
This movie was much better the second time around. It was a good, fun movie. I even think it's better made than the first. It's not as vulgar, it has some heartfelt moments, and I like what it does with the characters. There were a lot of themes and events that felt repeated from the first one, but it's still unique and feels like it's own thing. The comedy was superb, and it was on the same level as the first movie. Ryan Reynolds shows again why he was cast in this role. I just love watching him on screen, especially as Deadpool. He’s just perfect. I also really liked seeing Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz. They were both great characters, and I love them both as actors, so it was a treat. Also, there were some great cameos that I’m gonna spoil real quick: Terry Crews, Bill Skarsgard, and (very briefly) Brad Pitt. It was so cool and very surprising to see them, which kind of gave the movie some of the same feel that ‘The Suicide Squad’ has. Finally, the soundtrack was really good, the references/easter eggs were cool, and the special effects were pretty well done (although sometimes a little choppy, but not often). Overall, this movie is even better than the first one. Plus, it has one of the best post credit scenes ever, and what might be my new favorite post credit scene of all time. Anyways, this film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
