• Hey girl! Whatcha doin’? I wanted to start this out with that theme song because it’s such an earworm (and I don’t care what anyone says, it’s an awesome theme). Anyways, I went into this show with very high expectations, and after finishing it, I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Of course, there were a few things I could complain about (like most shows), but as a whole, it’s one of the best sitcoms ever. In fact, I’d even say it probably deserves legendary status. I’ve never even seen a bad review for this show. The writing is just so spot on, and I really have trouble finding episodes that I didn’t enjoy. They were all so funny. The line deliveries are always so on point, especially from Nick and Schmidt. Every single character (except for a select few) were so awesome, relatable, and important. They all added a special quality to the show. Of course, I know who my favorite is: Tran. And of course, Jess is awesome, and my monster crush on Zooey Deschanel doesn’t help. She’s actually the reason why I started watching the show. I just love everyone. I think the only two big things I don’t like are the last season, and Coach. I know I said I liked all the characters, and Coach has his good moments, but his character was so pointless. He doesn’t add anything to the show at all. He’s just there. And yeah, the last season wasn’t great either. I loved the ending, but it kind of took the Parks and Rec route, which didn’t necessarily work for either show. But besides those, this show is ridiculously good. I’m also curious if Elizabeth Meriwether took any inspiration from Friends. There were a couple different things and ideas that mirrored Friends. Overall, this series is fantastic, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who likes sitcoms. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
