Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
This first time I ever watched this, I hated more than almost any movie I'd ever seen. However, after my second vieweing, I can firmly say that my mind has changed. Now yes, there were some things about this movie that are dumb, and the storyline wasn’t super good. However, a lot of it is just Godzilla fighting a bunch of Titans, which is really sweet. This music wasn't super notable, but still epic. I didn’t like many of the characters at all, except for a small handful. There were a lot of pretty cool shots throughout the film, but with fantastic CGI and really cool lighting and cinematography. I'm starting to like how the character’s rely on Godzilla to help them, almost like their version of Superman. At first I didn't like it, but this movie helps explain why it's important that the world should support Godzilla. Not as much fighting as I might want (with a little too much focus on the human characters), but it still makes for a fun time. I'd probably recommend to sci-fi/monster lovers, especially if you've seen the previous two MonsterVerse movies.
