• Unfortunately, this season was a small step down from the first two. It was still really good, but there was an episode or two that just bored me, and I don’t feel like they added much to the story. Episode three was especially like that. I just about fell asleep during it, which is usually pretty rare for me. It felt like it just completely branched off from the main episodes, and honestly, if that episode was erased, the story would still basically be the same. Not a fan of it. However, besides that specific one, most of the others were awesome, and I really liked them. The continued storyline is so fun to keep up with, as the characters build around the story, and the story builds around them. It works really well. The presence of both Bo Katan and Moff Gideon was great. I really like both characters, so I’m happy to see both of them be incorporated so well. I was a little disappointed that Grogu hasn’t really progressed that much, in either a Jedi way or Mandalorian way. He’s cute and all, but to me, he’s almost overstaying his welcome if he’s not gonna do anything. I also wish a major protagonist would get knocked off, because it starts to get a teensy bit boring if nobody important dies. But that beside the point. The CGI and effects were really great (like always), the action was very well choreographed, and the music was blood pumping. Overall, this season was pretty good, though there were definitely some weak spots. I’m excited to see what’s to come in the future of the Mandoverse.
