• This movie may possibly be the worst comic book movie I’ve ever seen. In my entire life. And I’ve seen a very good chunk of them. Of all of them, this one just sank so low into the ground that the only reason it will be remembered is because of how bad it is. The plot is paper thin and does not go anywhere at all. It was so hard to pay attention or even follow along. A jumbled mess is what it was. The acting was downright horrendous, and this was one of the worst acted movies I’ve ever seen. Isabela Merced and Adam Scott were decent, but everyone sucked dookie. They were stale, emotionless, and frankly, the mannequins at my job have more personality than the cast did. The visual effects weren’t that bad, but not great. The costume design was hit or miss. Some were great, but others were cheesy and CW quality. Lastly, the film editing wasn’t great, although there were some cool camera tricks that give certain scenes a somewhat surreal quality. But that was really the only highlight. Besides that, this movie is easily my least favorite of 2024, and possibly the worst superhero movie ever made. Stay away from it at all costs.
