Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2020)
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute detail. And I’m not exaggerating. At all. If you’ve seen this show, then you know. My mind is actually blown. I can’t think properly. I can’t comprehend information. I can’t do anything functional. My gosh. But for real, let me actually talk about it. The majority of the show fits in between Episode II and Episode III of the Skywalker Saga, so you get to see a lot of new things you didn’t see in the live action movies. I’m perfectly happy with the prequel trilogy, but throwing this show into the mix puts Star Wars on the highest pedestal. Of course, the first two seasons are somewhat corny, and almost a tiny bit goofy, but once you get into it, you get INTO it. The first two seasons were actually some of my favorites. I grew up watching the Clone Wars movie as a kid, so seeing those cheesy episodes was nostalgic. But as the show progresses, the animation gets better, and the writing only becomes more flawless. The character development is absolutely insane, and you come to realize that some of the characters are better animated than in live action. Examples include Darth Maul, Kit Fisto, and, arguably, even Anakin. Watching them all move forward in their personal journeys was so intriguing. There are about five million things I want to say, and I certainly can’t fit them all into one post. So, I’ll leave you with this. This is one of the greatest animated shows ever made, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. HIGHLY. Just give it a try, and I promise you’ll become hooked like I did. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out NOW!
