• Honestly, I didn’t care for this one as much as I thought I would, though it was still great. There were a lot of aspects that I really loved, but I just felt like it was a tiny bit of a repeat of Son of Batman. Of course, it was unique in its own way, and I love the continued relationship building of Batman and Damian. The story was pretty sweet, and written well. Seeing the Court of Owls for the first time in any DC movie was really cool for me. I know about their history, but seeing them on screen for the first time was really nice. I also loved seeing Nightwing return, who I’ve always loved. In fact, all the characters were great, with some nice little twists throughout the movie. It’s probably the most graphic DCAU movie at this point, so it was dark, yet still enjoyable. Also, the scene of Alfred wielding a shotgun? Freaking CINEMA. Overall, this movie was good, though it did have a few parts that I didn’t find as enjoyable as I thought. I would still recommend it to all superhero/DC fans. It’s got great music, epic action, great character development, and it leaves you wanting more. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
