Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Coming in as the 18th perfect movie in Berry History, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it, and it offers a rich list of characters who contribute to an amazing story. I’m gonna try to keep this review short, because I know I could rant about it all day. I’ll also be very careful with spoilers, as this is one you should watch without knowing much about. The story obviously deals with the Flash, and how his ability to time travel and change the past can affect the entire world. That’s about all I’ll say, because everything else that transpires should be spoiled. After watching, it’s really amazing to see the similarities between this and The Flash (2023). The Flash isn’t a direct take of Flashpoint, but you can see how much of the story derives from the original Flashpoint story. That’s the big reason I watched this, was to study up on my Flashpoint history, and I’m so glad I did. I love seeing a Flash centric story, and of course, all the other heroes and villains. The animation was fantastic, and the designs of each character are superb. And the Speed Force scene at the end was AWESOME. The music was also solid, though it didn’t necessarily stand out. I couldn’t find a discernible theme, though thinking back on it, it was still really good. Overall, this movie was flipping amazing, and I’d highly recommend it to all superhero/animation fans, even if you don’t like (or even have knowledge) of DC. This film is officially Berry Approved, so go check it out now!
